Lead JavaScript Developer

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled lead JavaScript developer to join our team and take charge of guiding and mentoring our developers. As a lead JavaScript developer, you will play a crucial role in driving project success, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality web applications for our clients. You will work closely with a team of passionate UI-designers and -developers on high-visibility projects where the experience of a diverse group of end-users is the most important factor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of JavaScript developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, back-end, and project management to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest JavaScript technologies (Angular, React, ...) and industry best practices.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new developers.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
• Ensure a perfect UX within a challenging technical environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a JavaScript developer with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and related technologies (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js).
• Excellent people management skills, with experience in coaching and mentoring developers.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for good design and seamless UX.
