Announcing Leap Forward Academy

At Leap Forward we aim to help our clients in the most sustainable way and often that requires the transfer of our own knowledge and expertise to our client teams. We started Leap Forward Academy to support this knowledge transfer as effectively and efficiently as we can.

At Leap Forward Academy, you:

  • Learn by doing. All trainings and courses focus on an experiental process. Theory is directly applied in realistic practical exercises.

  • Learn from real-world examples and experience.

  • Take home the tools to apply your learnings immediately. 

  • Are treated as a human-being by a personal approach, small groups and excellent catering ;-)

This three-day masterclass is aimed at managers and leaders who want to embrace design-thinking within their teams. In this training you will learn about the different aspects of design and how to include them in business decisions. You'll understand how to attract and keep the best-in-class designers and learn how to cultivate a culture of design. This course will be given by seasoned design professionals.

Design systems for in-house teams

At Leap Forward our designers have completed hundreds of design projects. For us it is essential that we don't reinvent the wheel for every project and that we can deliver consistent hight quality across all our designers and clients. Over the years we have refined the way a digital product design team works, shares and grows. In this two-month track we train and coach your design team toward an agile- and atomic-based design flow. We focus on helping you create your own design systems, online style-guides and efficient workflow.

Service Design Architect

David is an empathic designer with a passion for learning about people, technology and systems. He is driven by improving processes and workflows and always shifting from the big picture to the nitty gritty details.

He works with you as a strategic design partner and coach, to help you figure out what change needs to be realised and how to achieve this through design. Together with Stina Vanhoof he is host of the Service Design Podcast and frequent speaker at conferences and trainings.
