Medior/​Senior Product Designer

Job description

We are seeking a talented product designer to join our team and contribute to the design of innovative digital products. As a experienced product designer, you will play a key role in enhancing the user experience and visual appeal of our client's web and mobile applications, ensuring they are not only functional but also delightful to use.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other designers, to create user-centered designs.
• Translate insights from user research into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces that align with the brand identity of the clients and user needs.
• Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all products.
• Participate in usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and methodologies.
• Present and communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven first experience as a product designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX and UI design skills.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with user research techniques and usability testing is a plus.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment.
• The right to work in Belgium without the need for visa sponsorship.
